An energetic conference speaker / masterclass taker on all things social (media), the author of Zen And The Heart Of Social Media, double TEDxer, and, now, Wellingtonian.
Tom Reidy : Technical Lead
Catalyst90 Founder and CEO, Tom is a solutions-focused creative thinker with more than a decade of digital and social media marketing experience. This extensive background combined with his natural ability to think big, strategically and creatively makes him a bold leader at the helm of the Catalyst90 team. What he loves about his job is being able to run with the big ideas and being able to make them happen for his clients.
Nick Billowes : Event Advisor
Within CORE Education Nick (Cofounding Director) supports the major national contract programmes with a major oversight of the Te Toi Tupu consortia, the Early Years Programme, national online contracts under the National Curriculum Online, executive support to the Kaihāutu Māori team leaders as well as a range of other contracts currently held by CORE Education with the Ministry of Education.

Marie-Claire Andrews : Event App
CEO of Showgizmo, Marie-Claire is a high–energy (she gets that from her red hair) leader, organiser and excellent liaison between our business and our geeks. She was the establishment General Manager of the Wellington Angel Investment Network and her ‘girl geek’ status was confirmed through her appointment as chair of Unlimited Potential—New Zealand’s leading technology business network, a position she held for two years.
Josh Dry : Ticketing / Social Media
Studying Marketing, Management and Psychology at Otago University, Josh quickly moved into an entrepreneurial space by starting a Student Tax Return company and 1-night.co.nz (New Zealand’s premier festival ticketing agency). He now leads the marketing activities for SmartShow-taking ShowGizmo to the world, on and offline including managing Event Camp Down Under 2012. Josh strongly believes in sustainable practices and prides himself in being green.

A connector at Enspiral, Sam is currently melding his background in business, marketing, volunteer engagement, environmental conservation & digital communications strategy through various projects in Wellington. The opportunity to work with the TEDxTeAro team fused together Sam’s interest in communications, positive messages & stories, and longer term vision of seeing Wellington become a mecca for social entrepreneurs creating a better world.
Helen Kirlew Smith : Sponsorship Coordinator
A freelance Producer, Event Manager and Facilitator, for Helen, it is all about sharing stories, and connecting people. Before moving to New Zealand 6 years ago Helen worked as Company Manager for Blast Theory since then she became actively involved with Playcentre. During this time she has organized parent forums and workshops through Breathing Space NZ, as well as recently returning to her first love, promoting and supporting live art.
Diane Henjyoji : Volunteer Coordinator
Interested in connecting individuals with ideas, Diane is a self-confessed geek who enjoys playing with new technology and working out strategic ways of using digital tools to enhance her interaction with people. She has more than 20 years experience in education and is a polymath working on her sixth degree.

Ela has been working in the internet & social media industry since 2005. She has experience in the areas of creating web projects from scratch, project development & management, Digital / Social Marketing, plus working with leading brands & professionals in Turkey. Most recently Ela migrated to Wellington and looking forward to being part of the TEDx community!
Tracy Keith : Volunteer / Runner
Tracy is now a local Wellingtonian after growing up down South and studying at Otago where she graduated with a degree in Law. She works in a training and relationship management role for Ricoh NZ. Tracy is looking forward to being a part of TEDxTeAro as she thrives on interacting with people and is a big fan of TED. She is excited to be part of the volunteer team, making a great event come to life for the lucky attendees.
